John Curri - My husband and I began searching for houses in the Melbourne area over a year ago.  We were not really ready to buy when we started and just wanted to get a good understanding of the market.  We were not sure which realtor to use.  We called the day before we wanted to come look at houses and were told  by several different realtors that they could not accommodate us on such short notice or that we needed to have a letter of commitment for a certain amount before they would set up showings for houses in our price range.  When we called John Curri things were very different.  He was warm, friendly and accommodating.  When we arrived in town to meet him for the first time, he was very prepared showing us several different listings even though he had only had a few hours notice.  I could tell right away by the listings John pulled that he had listened intently to our desires for a house and that he had a very good understanding of what we were looking for in a house.  He was not just interested in showing us his listings like some other realtors we had worked with in the past.  We also felt John was incredibly knowledgeable about the community, which was very helpful because even though we had done countless  hours of internet research on the community and looking at houses for sale, there is nothing like having a true native to guide you through the process of buying a house in a new town.  He was also extremely patient and understanding with our five year  daughter, who was less than enthralled about accompanying us on our house search.  All in all, John was there with us through the whole process and was unbelievably patient while we learned the area and also learned about the things we actually wanted in a house (as opposed to the things we thought we wanted when we first started looking).  It took us a long time to actually know what we wanted, but John never seemed annoyed or bothered by our indecision.  He was always readily available in person to accommodate us when we were in the area, or by phone and email when we saw different things we might be interested in over the internet.  When we finally decided on the house we wanted, John was instrumental in helping us develop a negotiating strategy which allowed us to afford a much larger house than we actually thought we could ever afford.  When it came to navigating the complexities of financing and inspections and all of things that come after you find the perfect house, John was right there the whole way introducing us to a team of professionals who made the process quite painless.  He even let us keep our sail boat behind his house for a few weeks when our closing got delayed because of the bank.  After we closed and moved into our dream house (which we totally love)  John continued to be a resource for us by putting us in touch with numerous quality professionals like painters and all of the other things you do after you close on the perfect house.  In short, John went above and beyond the call of duty.  I cannot imagine a better realtor.  Thank you John for all of your help.
