Parks and Recreation

The Space Coast is a great place for fun and activities and there is no exception to its numerous parks and community centers.  The variety of indoor and outdoor activities is endless!  Whether you’re seeking to play outdoor sports like baseball, tennis, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, swimming, nature trail hiking or want to have fun indoors with computer labs, indoor parties, or card games, Brevard Parks have everything imaginable.  Some parks even feature boat ramps for boating and fishing!  Many of the parks also include organized sports leagues that feature softball, flag football, soccer, and more!

• Northern Brevard Community Centers and Parks

Facilities include recreation room, learning center with computer labs, civic room, annex with kitchen, game room, pavilions, playground, exercise trail, basketball courts, picnic shelters, and baseball fields.

-Port St. John Community Center
Facilities include auditorium, meeting room, annex with kitchen, game room, playground, and basketball court.

-Tom Statham Park Community Center
Facilities include pavilions, playground, meeting room, and river boardwalk.

Facilities include a gymnasium, meeting room, and kitchen available for rental on weekends when not in conflict with scheduled County-sponsored activities.

Facilities include meeting rooms, game room, pavilion, playground, pool, outdoor basketball court, tennis courts, and baseball fields.

Facilities include computer lab, lighted sand volleyball courts, playground, 1/2 court outdoor basketball, gymnasium, game room, and paved nature trail.

Events are scheduled here periodically and there is a small community center available for rental.  Also includes a boat ramp.

Facilities include pavilions, picnic tables, playground, basketball court, volleyball court, and baseball fields.

-South Beach Community Center
Facilities include gymnasium, banquet kitchen, large meeting room with divider, four small meeting rooms, and two sets of restrooms (one with showers). Built to withstand 170 mph winds, it may be used as a post-hurricane shelter.

Facilities include community room, kitchen, gymnasium, playground, basketball courts, and volleyball court.
